Madison newborn photos

Newborn photography comes in all different shapes and sizes. In home, in studio, at the hospital, with props, without props, with family members, just baby alone; there are many options to think about when considering newborn photos. Not all photographers will offer every options, so its best to do your homework before baby is born in finding the right photographer. Most newborns are best photographed within the first few weeks of birth, so tentatively booking a session before the baby is born will save you a lot of stress right after the little one arrives. It will also give you time to connect with your photographer about your photo vision.

Here at Sweet Sage Photography, all sessions are done in home and you can choose to use a backdrop and props or take a more lifestyle approach, or do both! A phone consult is done ahead of time to narrow down what approach you want to take and to pin point what photos will be most important to you.

During the planning for this session, we talked about incorporating a stuffed animal into some of the photos. The images with the stuffed animal are among some of my favorite from this session. How sweet is it that the little lady is holding the same stuffed animal as her amazing momma did when she was that age!
